Your role

We are looking for a project manager to lead and coordinate assignments related to the development of maintenance systems for Gripen E/F. You will work closely with several sections and operations within BU Gripen to create effective system solutions for our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Drive projects through the entire development chain.
• Coordinate work between different technical areas and internal operations
• Prepare decision-making materials, follow up on finances, and ensure project progress
• Build an understanding of the customer's maintenance systems, analyze and adapt solutions to their organization and operational requirements
• Contribute to the development of a complete maintenance system and be involved in all parts of the platform, including fixed and mobile readiness, squadron workshops, and rear maintenance

You will gain a unique overall view of how a modern maintenance system is built, implemented, and used in practice.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a project manager and an engineering background, preferably from industrial operations. You are confident in driving complex projects and master key project management areas such as scope management, planning, risk management, finance, status reporting, and decision-making materials.

• Communicative and pedagogical, with the ability to create collaboration and participation
• Confident in leadership and accustomed to working at different levels in an organization
• Good at building relationships, solving problems, and driving work forward

If you lack some experience in maintenance systems or aviation operations, you will receive support to quickly get into the business.

You need to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
